Each year, the City sets aside the month of November to recognize and thank businesses for their contributions to the Westminster community. 2020 will be no different. In fact, with the entire world experiencing the pains of a global pandemic, we felt it was especially necessary to honor our local businesses during these unprecedented times.
Business Appreciation Month runs from Sunday, November 1 through Monday, November 30. Staff worked with City Council to produce a short video presentation to kick off the month-long celebration. You can view the video here.
The annual Business Legacy Awards recognizes those businesses in Westminster who have served the Westminster community for 25+ years (in five-year increments). We honored our “legacy businesses” via a virtual awards celebration. You can view the video awards here.
New in 2020, the City will recognize businesses who have made contributions to the environment and the community with a Sustainability Award. You can view the Sustainability Awards video here.
