Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters is set to open its third cafe in the heart of the new Downtown Westminster development just off Highway 36 at 88th & Sheridan Blvd. Westminster will mark the third and largest location for the company, serving their award winning coffees as pour over or espresso beverages, alongside house-made pastries.
Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters invites the Westminster community to join them this week for their soft opening before they celebrate their official grand opening on Saturday, March 20th. Regular business hours are 7a-5p, Monday through Saturday.
“We love the opportunity to serve Denver’s more suburban communities that maybe don’t have as many choices but still need a place to come together,” said Eric Yochim, Sweet Bloom co-owner and Head of Retail. “We feel really fortunate to have been able to push through all of the challenges that 2020 threw at us and come out the other side with this beautiful space we now get to share with a brand new community.”
The space, designed in collaboration with local design agency, The Made Shop of Denver, and built by expert craftsman Reuben Krupicka, boasts ample natural light, clean lines and beautiful use of color.
Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters, founded in 2013 by Andy Sprenger (two time US Brewers Cup Champion and 2013 US Aeropress Champion) focused heavily in its first years on sourcing top tier coffees and creating a sustainable, direct relationship trade model with coffee producers around the globe. By helping pioneer this model, the company’s acclaim quickly grew, gaining recognition as one of the top roasters, not just nationally but internationally, as they now service accounts all over the globe from LA to Hong Kong.
In 2019, Sweet Bloom merged with Two Rivers Coffee owned and operated by Yochim. Yochim focusses on developing Sweet Bloom’s cafe operations to include not just their tasting room in Lakewood, but also a full service cafe in Arvada.
