Over the last year, Westminster has seen an influx of restaurants — some making their first appearance in the Centennial State. Chuy’s — hailing from Austin and known for its Tex-Mex fare — opened its first Colorado location in Westminster last June. Since then, Lazy Dog, the canine-friendly restaurant from California, opened its first Colorado location at the Orchard Town Center. And Missouri BBQ joint, Sugarfire, announced their expansion into the state with their first location to open in the Orchard this summer.
Two restaurants with locations in downtown Denver — The Old Spaghetti Factory and 5280 Burger Bar — both chose Westminster as their first expansion outside of the Mile High City and into the suburbs. And local breakfast favorite, Snooze, chose to open not one — but two! — locations in Westminster. The Promenade location opened to much fanfare last summer, and the Orchard location is sure to draw the same kind of crowds when they open in the Orchard sometime this year.
Finally, both Bacon Social House and Alamo Drafthouse have announced they will open their third Colorado locations in Downtown Westminster. Alamo Drafthouse is expected to open later this year, and Bacon Social, who offers brunch, happy hour and dinner daily, has slated their Westminster opening for 2019.
