Shelby has worked for the City of Westminster since 2012 and joined Economic Development in 2016. Her primary focus is supporting the City’s small businesses. She does this by providing assistance to existing and startup businesses, managing the small business grant and scholarship programs, developing small business appreciation and recognition events, and conducting outreach. Shelby also works collaboratively with regional partners in developing business trainings, ongoing small business tools, and with other partner engagements.
Shelby is a Certified Economic Developer, CEcD and she holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tampa where she graduated cum laude. She previously worked in the private sector as an Operations Manager at various companies in Florida and Colorado.
